CLEFS

When opening a new file, the first measure defaults with a Treble Clef. To change clefs, simply click the clef in the measure. This will open the Clef Palette. The most commonly used clefs are displayed. To expand and view more available clefs, select the ... button.

The following Clefs are available for notation:

 

Treble Clef: Adds a Treble Clef to the staff. This is the default Clef when adding staves or opening new files.
Bass Clef: Adds a Bass Clef to the staff.
Alto Clef: Adds an Alto Clef to the staff.
Tenor Clef: Adds a Tenor Clef to the staff.
Octave Up Treble Clef: Adds an Octave Up Treble Clef to the staff.
Octave Down Treble Clef: Adds an Octave Down Treble Clef to the staff.
Octave Up Bass Clef: Adds an Octave Up Bass Clef to the staff.
Octave Down Bass Clef: Adds an Octave Down Bass Clef to the staff.
Baritone Clef: Adds a Baritone Clef to the staff.
Mezzo-Soprano Clef: Adds a Mezzo-Soprano Clef to the staff.
Soprano Clef: Adds a Soprano Clef to the staff.
Neutral Clef: Adds a non-pitched percussion clef to the staff.
Neutral Clef: Adds a non-pitched percussion clef to the staff.
