How to Covert an audio file to an OGG audio file

Windows

  1. Download and install Audacity from http://audacityteam.org/download/
  2. Open the “Audacity”.
  3. Click the “File” Menu.
  4. Choose “Open”.
  5. A file browser will open. Locate the file you would like to convert, select it and press “Open”.
  6. Click the “File” Menu.
  7. Choose “Export as Ogg Vorbis”.
  8. A file browser will open. Enter a file name and select a location to save the new file then press “Save”.
  9. Your new OGG file will appear in the destination location you selected.

Mac

  1. Download and install Audacity from http://audacityteam.org/download/
  2. Open the “Audacity”.
  3. Click the “File” Menu.
  4. Choose “Open”.
  5. A file browser will open. Locate the file you would like to convert, select it and press “Open”.
  6. Click the “File” Menu.
  7. Choose “Export as Ogg Vorbis”.
  8. A file browser will open. Enter a file name and select a location to save the new file then press “Save”.
  9. Your new OGG file will appear in the destination location you selected.
