Re: Is Yosemite slowing me down?
Yosemite isn't slowing you down. Here is THE PROBLEM: Pyware made a switch from the old Mac Runtime Java (MRJ) to the real deal Oracle Java with 8.0.1. Fortunately, Oracle Java plays kind of nicely with anything updated from the old MRJ. UNFORTUNATELY, it only plays nicely, not perfectly. There are ...

Re: Purchase inquiry
Where can I find said upgrade paths on the website? If things look good, I'm purchasing immediately. FS Yeah, it'll be within the Application itself. It's 100% automated if you want to purchase that way. If not, call the number. Secretly, I do like to call the number because Pyware really does have...

Re: Purchase inquiry
Pygraphics runs several deals spread throughout the calendar year. You just have to keep an eye out for them. The typical ones are Christmas and Pi Day (March 14).

Re: Problem Creating a Video
Long story short, it's likely the hard drive. You will need an SSD in there. Go to macsales.com and get one. It's the most likely bottleneck you will have.
That being said, your computer specs are not on Mactracker either, which could present a problem.

Re: Graphics Requirement
Hi everyone, I am needing to purchase a new laptop for my drill writing business, Robert Harris Drill Design. I don't really want to spend the cash that is necessary to have a dedicated graphics card. Would the Intel HD 4400 or something similar be able to handle the Real View smoothly? Thoughts or...

Re: Facing turning towards center or over specific shoulder.
It's a quirk I've been forced to live with for a while now when doing To the Rear maneuvers, as it creates an extremely awkward turn when done as they are marching from left to right. It is something on the table, but it's somewhat of a low priority and it's livable. It's the same story with a stati...

Flag requests
I know you guys tend to stay very busy, but I have a flag request. Can we have a set of United States and US State flags for use? I am NOT planning on violating the US Flag Code (and please don't do that if you design drill--it tends to result in DQ's), but it'd be a nice touch for when you need to ...

Re: Yosemite ???
I haven't had any major issues from within Pyware. Pyware will prompt you to reinstall Apple's Java to use it properly and it's safe to do so from within the app. Unfortunately, it's Yosemite that is presenting the biggest problem. It congests memory so terribly compared to any other OS. Get Memory ...

Export As submenu
It would likely help a lot of people if there could be an Export As submenu under the File menu. It would work like File >Export As >>Version 7 file >>Version 6 file >>Version 5 file >>Version 4 file Once you click the one you need to export under, Pyware would make the necessary adjustments and giv...

There is a template called beret.psd. It's installed in your Documents folder under /Documents/Pyware 3D/Fabric/Templates.

Are you running the installer as administrator? I seem to remember an install post from a long time ago. Running the installer as the administrator solved the problem.

What trimpe said. If they are wearing see-through clothes, that's likely the culprit. You can download fabrics that will work in the current Pyware here: http://www.pyware.com/fabricgallery/

Re: grid design for 6man football field?
Here are the exact dimensions from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six-man_football
Six-man is a fast-moving game played on an 80-yard (73-m) long by 40-yard wide (37-m) field. Assuming 22.5 inch steps, this means 128 steps by 64 steps.

Re: Custom Props
You have to export them into an image file that Pyware can read. From there, it's a simple matter of importing the image as a prop to Pyware and placing it. Smaller image files (both size and byte-wise) work the best, as it doesn't create PDF's that are 50 MB per PDF.

The Truly Evil Counter Diamond
So I've had this idea bouncing in my head for a while to create a truly evil move I've called The Counter Diamond. To top it all off, I've figured out two ways to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jBICNC4heE And since I love to share (Share the Evil???), I've enclosed them as attachments. Have...

Re: Authorizing, Expiring, etc.
Well, the laptop can be taken to any wireless hotspot and activated. That problem is solved rather easily, as Pyware (I think) doesn't check the IP address, but rather it checks for a proper serial, since they are individually assigned. I have a sneaky suspicion that you'll need to call them tomorro...

They won't go the other way
AAARGH!!! With that out of my system, I'm trying to set up two different countermarches going in opposite directions. One will move from the left side of the field to the right and the other will move from the right side of the field to the left. Each time, I can't get the other half that goes from ...
