3D configuration files appear to be damaged or missing

Supporting a user on a Mac running 10.6.7, with 4GB of RAM, and 369 GB free on HD.

Has current version running on the machine, downloaded the updater from the site and is receiving that error after running the update.

Any assistance or suggestions appreciated!
