When updating to Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, you will need to download and install Java 6 from Apple as it is removed during the installation. The operating system prompts you to do so when running Pyware 3D.

This can be downloaded from apple directly at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572

I haven't had any major issues from within Pyware. Pyware will prompt you to reinstall Apple's Java to use it properly and it's safe to do so from within the app.

Unfortunately, it's Yosemite that is presenting the biggest problem. It congests memory so terribly compared to any other OS. Get Memory Clean immediately after upgrading to Yosemite and run it often to clear up your memory. Thankfully, though, 10.10.1 is coming down the pipeline (the second beta is seeded to developers) and I'm hoping it clears up the congestion.

UPDATE from previous post: 10.10.1 seems to have fixed the congestion issues my Mac mini was having. :D Pyware is running just fine under 10.10.1 also.
