- When manually matching in the Block tool, preview animation does not revert to the default matching order.
- The Rotate tool can rotate 90 or 180 degrees both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Typing a negative number in the rotation angle will give a counter-clockwise rotation.
- The hit area has been increased for all editing handles of all tools to make it easier to click on the handles on high resolution screens.
- When using the Label tool, some label positions would occasionally change positions unexpectedly.
Printing
- More concise coordinates for performers on (or very near) to a yard marker or hash.
- The "zoom chart for largest printout" print option now zooms to include only visible positions and not to hidden positions. Also the 1 step grid is printing on tight zooms.
- Printing thumbnails can print selected sets in addition to all sets.
- On the printouts the drill title is now 40 characters long, and is also followed by a set title.
- A grayscale printing grid is now available from the grid designer for photocopier reproducible charts.
- Added area to the side margins of the printouts for some printers that were cutting off the count numbers.
- The set numbers are now printed on the thumbnail printouts.
- The "zoom chart for largest printout" option prints both in Director Perspective and Student Perspective.
Drill Files
- When attaching an audio file to a drill, 3D looks at more directories for the audio file when re-opening the drill.
- When saving a drill as a 3D package file the file will open correctly even when the drill file has two appended suffixes.
- A 3D package file can be renamed by saving it with a different name.
- When removing a prop from the drill it no longer continues to ask for the picture file when re-opening the drill.
Utilities
- When adding counts to a drill using the Count Editor, existing text boxes are not duplicated on the new counts.
- Clicking right mouse In the Drill Rewrite utility properly exits the rewrite tool and a blank drill rewrite window will not pop up.
Other Enhancements
- When a performer is removed from the drill they are also removed from the cast sheet.
- Hidden shapes do not get selected with visible shapes.
- The count track has been expanded to display better for drills containing over 1000 counts.
- While pasting, the pasted shape can be dragged to a different location.
- Command keys are always active.
Macintosh
- Macintosh animation with music can start playing from the middle of a drill as it does on WIndows.
- When using Command Q on the Mac, 3D asks if you want to save existing changes before exiting. The quit shortcut is changed from Ctrl X to Ctrl Q on both platforms.
- On Macintosh, 3D now uses the new version of Mac Java version 1.4 or greater and OS 10.3 or greater to increase the program's performance.
- On Macintosh, opening a 3D backup file automatically finds the backups directory as it is done on Windows.
- All tool control panels were expanded for all of the text to be displayed correctly for the new font used on Macintosh.
